Perform at the World's Largest Music Festival, Get Your Act Noticed in Brooklyn, Emerge at Nikstock 2013, and more

Summerfest 2013 Summerfest has reserved at least 60 slots for Sonicbids artists to perform at Summerfest 2013 (5 slots are reserved for artists who submit by January 31). Since 2004, Summerfest has selected more than 400 Sonicbids artists! Summerfest has evolved into what is now recognized as "The World's Largest Music Festival" and Milwaukee's cornerstone summer celebration bringing the music industry's hottest stars, emerging talent and local favorites along with approximately 900,000 people from Milwaukee and around the world together each year for an unforgettable live music experience. Last year's headliners include: Foo Fighters, Aerosmith, Common, Ziggy Marley, Iron Maiden, Head and the Heart, Zac Brown Band, and many, many more. All selected artists will be compensated for their performances. Submissions close April 4th. Featured Gigs Prove Your Hip-Hop Talents in Brooklyn Now in its fifth year, the Show & Prove concert series as part of The Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival is a showcase of independent and local hip-hop talent. Three winners from preliminary events will compete at the Show & Prove Super Bowl for the opportunity to open on the Festival's stage on Saturday, July 13th. Independent artists have been given the chance to perform on the same bill as legends like Kanye West, Kendrick Lamar, Lupe Fiasco (in his NYC debut), and many more. Submissions close May 31st. Play to Tens of Thousands of Fans Outside of Boston Over 25 years old, the annual Lowell Folk Festival is one of the largest events of its kind in the nation. This free-to-the-public event attracts crowds in excess of 185,000. The festival books up to 30 acts, which are scheduled throughout the weekend on six outdoor stages. Past performers include: Angkor Dance Troupe, Bill Kirchen & Too Much Fun, The Birmingham Sunlights, Dervish, Dynasty Carnival Parade, and many more. Submissions close March 27th. Join Emerging Artists on Stage in New York The 28th Annual East Coast Nikstock 2013 is dedicated to the exposure and promotion of emerging original artists. There are 3 spots reserved for Sonicbids artists. All genres are accepted. Last year saw over 40 bands performing across two stages. This year, Nikstock hopes to book 80 bands to perform on two stages over four days. Artists come from all over the country to show off what they've got, gain some new fans, sell some CD's and meet people.
